How It Works

1. Sample Mounting: The fabric specimen is placed flat over the opening (100 cm²) of the stainless steel test reservoir, which is pre-filled with water.
2. Secure Clamping: The upper clamping ring, lowered via a handwheel, securely clamps the sample. An integrated rubber ring on the lower clamp ensures a leak-proof seal.
3. Automated Testing: Upon pressing "Start", the built-in pressurization system steadily increases water pressure to the fabric's underside at a pre-set rate.
4. Visual Detection: The operator observes the fabric's upper surface under an LED lamp for water penetration points.
5. Result Capture: When the third penetration point appears, pressing "Stop" instantly records the hydrostatic pressure value. Results display on the touch screen and can be printed immediately.
