1. Introduction :
This sphere is intended to verify the degree of protection of enclosures against ingress of solid foreign objects, in accordance with VDE 0700-69 resp. EN 60335-2-69

Object probe for the ascertainment of protection of persons and for checking the mechanical resistance of the material. With the help of the test sphere the protection of the equipment against intrusive solid particles can be tested. Furthermore the protection of the back of the hand can be rated.
