Theexposure of elastomers (rubber) to ozone leads to the formation of cracks which can considerably reduce the useful life of products. For this reason antioxidants and ozone waxes have to be added to protect most types of rubber in use. ARGENTOX ozone test cabinets offer you the optimal opportunity to simulate and measure rubber aging by means of ozone within a few days. Our ozone test cabinets are time machines!


The test cabinet for accelerated ozone tests, which is built like a "perfect closed system", was developed to enable more exact and repeatable ozone tests to be carried out. With this unit you can determine real values for ozone concentration which are unaffected by influences from the air and the gases contained in the air. To determine and check ozone concentration, the coulometric constant-flow electrolyte method was frequently used in the past. Nowadays the UV absorption method is in use because it offers several benefits:
