Introduction:
1.The IEC 60529 water jet spray nozzle IPX 3/4 is a hand-held test device to verify protection against spraying and splashing water.
2.The water pressure can be adjusted using the flow control knob on the device to give the required flow rate.
3.The pressure can be seen on the gauge which is convenient positioned by the Spray Tester IPX 3/4.The spray pattern of the nozzle is made to the specifications of IE60529.

Applications:
1.IEC 60529 water jet spray nozzle IPX 3/4 is designed to perform tests in large and small scale products.
2.It is a great option when a portable tester is necessary. The Spray Tester IPX 3/4 is an alternative to the Oscillating Tube for establishing the degree of protection against ingress water.
3.The Spray Tester IPX 3/4is intended for use on specimens that will not fit within the diameter of the Tube Tester. The primary IEC tests include IPX3 and IPX4 protection against water spraying and splashing water.
Test Condition:
1,The tests are conducted with fresh water.
2,During the tests for IPX1-IPX6 the water temperature should not differ by more than 5 K from the temperature of the specimen under test. If the water temperature is more than 5K below the temperature of the specimen a pressure balance shall be provided for the enclosure.
3,During the purpose of the tests ,the surface area of the enclosure is calculated with a tolerance of 10%.
4,Adequate safety precaution should be taken when testing the equipment in the energized condition.
