Temperature Rise Test Equipment
It is mainly to evaluate the adverse effects caused by the heating of the product to avoid overheating and fire hazards.
The effects caused by heating are as follows:
A. Affect the service life of insulation (if the service temperature of insulation exceeds the rated value by 8 C, its service life will be shortened by half)
B. Affect the normal use of electrical components
C. Plastic deformation due to heat (affecting electrical clearance)
D. The outer surface temperature is too high (scald)
E. Cause the surrounding environment to overheat.
1. The sample status:
Different states are specified for different appliances.
A. Hand-held appliance: hang in static air according to the normal position of use;
B. Built-in appliance: embedded in the test Angle, the degree of embedding according to the state of use of the appliance;
C. Electric heating appliances: placed in the test Angle, the placement method is related to the use mode of the appliance;
D. Electric appliances: put on the test bracket, and the placement method is related to the use method of the appliance.
2. Measuring parts:
All temperatures listed in table 3 of GB 4706. 1 shall be measured except at measuring points for which the appliance is not applicable.
If the appliance must be disassembled to install the thermocouple, after the appliance is assembled and restored, the input power shall be measured again to check whether the assembly is correct.
3. Working time:
There are three possible working hours:
A. Short-time working system: the temperature shall be measured at the end of the temperature test according to the rated working time.
B. Continuous working system: the temperature test shall run continuously until it reaches a stable state.
C. Intermittent working system: run in a continuous working cycle until a stable state.
4. Operation method:
A. Put the test sample on the test Angle as required and turn on the power supply;
B. The thermocouple is led to the terminal of the back plate of the thermometer on the side plate through the wire groove;
C. Measure the temperature of each point on the current measuring surface.
D. Installation connection:After unpacking, connect the plug of the thermocouple cable to the temperature measuring interface, and connect the end of the plug thermocouple cable to the terminal of the rear board of the temperature measuring instrument.
